Joyce Ivy College Admissions Symposium (JCAS)
Prepare for the college admissions journey with guidance straight from the source. At JCAS, students and families gain insider insight into selective college admissions through engaging, interactive sessions led by admissions officers from top universities, including the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Chicago, Duke University, and more.
Explore every stage of the admissions process with sessions designed to inform and empower you, from thriving in junior and senior year, to crafting standout essays, to navigating financial aid, and discovering how to find a college you would love to call home. Participate in hands-on workshops, experience a LIVE admissions case study where applications are evaluated in real time, and connect with college representatives during a Mini College Fairs and breakout sessions.
Summer Scholars Send-off Dinner
Each year the Joyce Ivy Foundation names Summer Scholars, young women from the Midwest, who receive a scholarship to attend a residential summer pre-college program at highly selective colleges and universities in the U.S. The Send-off Dinner is an opportunity for us to celebrate these scholars and their families. During this event, Joyce Ivy also names a Leader of the Year and two Women of Impact. There are event sponsorship opportunities available, and individual donations are welcome to support this amazing scholarship program.
